55 Yonder murals with a fixed location, and six threads running through the walls — filter by one to follow a single current through the work.
In Algoma the map becomes a walk: 15 walls in about 1.4 miles, counterclockwise from the studio door and back to it. Check them off as you find them — the map remembers.
A second walk leaves from the same door: the Walldog walk, 11 stops and about 0.9 miles through the walls of June 2007, when more than a hundred sign painters came to Algoma and lettered downtown in three days.
Algoma keeps an older record too. Switch on the register to see the walls other hands painted — the 2007 Walldog weekend among them — and drag through the years to watch the town’s walls arrive, get restored, and, once, disappear.
