Plate XIII. The final label is complete, and reads only: "here it is."
A mechanical insect with gem-set eyes holds up a stack of golden cubes — the archive rendered as pure object, the world reduced to countable gold. At the lower right a witch-hare watches, the one wild witness left in the room. This is the thirteenth: the surplus plate, the coven's odd member — the cosmology arriving at its own emblem and finding it is a machine holding treasure while something older looks on. The key ends here. What it opened, the hare already knows.
