DKAF at The Granary

A screen-printed poster for Random Acts of Art — the Door Kinetic Art Fest season kickoff at The Granary in Sturgeon Bay, June 6, 2025. The design leans into a mid-century palette — deep teal, sky blue, and a warm mustard yellow — with the Granary’s grain-elevator silhouette anchoring a swirl of moons, fish, a martini glass, swimmers, and a leaping figure. Playful, nautical, a little nocturnal: an evening of food, libations, music, and non-stop art by the water.

We hand-pulled the prints, which is half the point. A screen-printed poster isn’t just a graphic — it’s an object, ink sitting on the surface of the paper, every pull a little different from the last. It’s the kind of work that’s as at home on a gallery wall as it is stapled to a telephone pole announcing the show.
